Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing.
“People come in and out of your life. For a time they are your world; they are everything. And then one day they’re not. There’s no telling how long you will have them near.”
I start to read P.S. I Still Love You because I can’t move on with the first book. Book hangover? YES, definitely. Which I’m glad that whole series is finish before I start reading it.
Anyway here are my thoughts about the book. Well, I can’t believe and accept the fact that Lara Jean and Peter are RENEWING their contact. Why? Why can’t they just be in a relationship?
Then, a scandal?! I almost scream while reading. I’m stunned that Lara Jean and Peter’s private moment are not private anymore. I had a gut feeling that Genevieve took and uploaded the video and that she was also responsible for spreading the news that Lara Jean and Peter had sex in a hot tub! And yes, I ‘m right!! A scandal is totally humiliating. As part of the Asian culture if we’re involved in a scandal or something similar, being discreet, to keep quiet and show people that even if we are not okay in times of struggle, we have to show that we are okay.
I can’t believe what I’m reading. John is Stormy’s grandson and he likes Lara Jean and they kissed! John, the pen pal! I don’t know anymore who to root for! I like John for Lara Jean because she deserve someone who truly care and love her. But Peter, loves and cares for her too!
When Lara Jean invited her old friends, I love that part. They reminisce and played a game they used to play when they were kids.
Unexpected turn of events and believe me, I’m affected and it hurts.
I am definitely recommending this to my fellow readers and friends. It’s worth reading! The kilig moment between Lara Jean and Peter are I don’t know what exact words to describe it but in Filipino words sobrang nakakakilig!!!
“No one can ever like anyone exactly the same.”
“There are long-lasting consequences to our actions.”
