THESE ROYALS WILL RUIN YOU…

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

SHE MIGHT BE RIGHT.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Review:

After reading an urban fantasy, I decided to finish reading the Royals series. Again, it is not part of my NetGalley (I’m sorry NetGalley, I’m really lacking in giving reviews) or my review list. I’ve started reading this maybe last year and after three chapters I suddenly stop which I can’t remember why.

Most of you probably are familiar with Ella and Reed’s story from Paper Princess. I was not able to post my review of that book here in blog because I’ve read it last year (I haven’t created my blog at that time).

Reed is such a jerk. Ella wouldn’t leave them if he’s not. He deserves all the blame and heartaches. Sorry Reed but you really deserve all those. Brooke is in my nerves. If this happens to be a television drama, Brooke will definitely win the best antagonist award. I have issues with Ella. Yes, she has the right to be angry and devastated, but she’s getting annoying. I don’t like how Ella thinks most of the time. She tries to be rational but always fail. Her reasoning is not acceptable. She keeps on pushing Reed away when she’s obviously screaming her desire for Reed.

The Royal household is a total mess! All the twists are twisted. Seriously. I can’t stop yelping every time. This book is twisted. TWISTED. I am totally into this book. I couldn’t move on for days because of book hang over.

Broken Prince does not only focus on the romance story of Ella and Reed but also the situation of their family. It is a reflection of every household. There is no such thing as a good family or bad family or perfect family. Every family has its own hole, problem, twist. I have reflected so much from this book, not only about myself but the household where I am now.

I highly recommend this book if you like reading chaotic and highly intense scenes. Broken Prince is a page-turner. You’ll have a love-hate relationship with the characters but at the end love them.

These are my final thoughts after reading the last words:

***SPOILER***

Okay, seriously, what’s going on? Like is Reed really the person of interest because Brooke’s dead? Sorry but not sorry that Brooke’s dead. WTF, STEVE?!

Final words: THE ROYALS DEFINITELY RUINED ME.

Quotable quotes:

“I’ve decided that I’m not going to waste my time or energy on people who don’t deserve it.”

“Don’t say things you’ll regret. Don’t say things we can’t come back from”

“My problem isn’t that I’m thinking too hard—it’s that I’m not thinking enough”
